Securus CEO Rick Smith experience in technology and finance

Richard A. Smith, the current CEO of Securus Technologies Inc, is the most prolific and skilled leader. He has the necessary knowledge and skills to lead this top company in providing technological services. Mr. Smith studied at RIT where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. And he didn’t stop there; Smith went to SUNY Brockport for Master’s degree Mathematics and topped it with an MBA from the University of Rochester’s Simon School.

Mr. Smith’s hard-working character earned him the promotion to be the president and CEO of the company where he served from 2003 to 2007. He left the company and joined Securus Technologies Inc and was promoted to CEO in 2008. As seen from his resume, Mr. Smith has extensive years of experience not only in technology but also in finance and business management. While at Eschelon Telecom, Smith helped the company grow its revenue from $30 million to $350 million. This is what the chairman of Securus mentioned during the promotion of Rick Smith.
