He graduated in with a degree in Advertising from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado. He began his advertising in 1982 as a write for an agency called Standart Ogilvy.
He also became a member of the Board of the Brazilian Association of Advertising Agencies, where he took on the responsibility of defending the interests of Brazilian agencies that were associated with the communication industry.
In addition to Alexandre Gama’s impressive list of accomplishments, he is currently the winner of 23 Lions at the Cannes Film Festival. Recently, Gama was asked to join the Global Creative Board, where he would be the only Brazilian publicist. Global Creative Board was a committee formed by 6 world leaders of agencies, who were responsible for planning new business possibilities for their companies.
