 Dr. S. Mark McKenna is helping patients live a better life

Dr. S. Mark McKenna actively gives back to his community. When Hurricane Katrina hit he helped rebuild New Orleans with low to moderate income housing. He is originally from New Orleans. Soon after he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where he launched an aesthetic and wellness based medical practice called ShapeMed. Dr. S. Mark McKenna also became the Founder and CEO of OVME.

McKenna always starts his day at 6:30am. He then wakes up his daughter, eats breakfast, gets ready for the day, and heads into work. Dr. McKenna makes it to the office 8am to have a productive day. He often works till 6pm in which he goes home have dinner with the family. He then works until he is ready to go to bed. Visualization, meditation, and goal setting it what makes him more productive and he believes it is a recipe for success. Mark also is an active reader and does it whenever he can. If he could start over again back when he was younger, Dr. McKenna would slow down. He would not race through life and would of liked to find his passion earlier on. Being around people smarter than him helps him become smarter and more successful. Some of the software he uses nowadays are XCEL, Microsoft Office, and much more. It helps keep things very organized. The best $100 he spent recently was on paying a handyman to fix his garbage disposal. He got is up and running in no time. If he could suggest a great book to readers is “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. It’s all about visualization. When asked what influential figures inspire him, Dr. McKenna said Barack Obama, Michael Bloomberg, and Elon Musk.

Dr. S. Mark McKenna, MBA, MD is a licensed medical doctor specializing in surgery and medicine. He received his education at Tulane University School of Medicine and got his degree in medicine and health.

Dr. McKenna is located in Atlanta, Georgia and is the owner of Shape Medical Wellness Center. He is also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of OVME. Dr. McKenna loves to give back to his community and is passionate about advocating for his patients.
